New York City-based artist Karen J. Revis exploresminimal, grid-based markmaking in silk screen monoprints, paper lithography, etchings, papermaking, encaustics, and mixed media on cast resin. She has attended residencies at Pyramid Atlantic, The Women’s Studio Workshop and Henry Street Settlement.
Represented by Sears Peyton Gallery in New York , Kaller Fine Art in Washington D.C. and Weber Fine Art in Greenwich, CT. She studied fine art at Pratt Institute and her work is featured in The Art of Encaustic Painting: Contemporary Expression in the Ancient Medium of Pigmented Wax by Joanne Mattera (Watson-Guptill Publications, 2001).
