Tiffany Gomez created Gomez Design Studio with the vision of making various products from salvaged and recycled materials. Through her experience in architecture and interior design Gomez became aware of the impact the industry has on our environment through overproduction, depletion of natural resources and waste output.
Since then, Tiffany has developed a unique style working predominantly with salvaged lumber obtained from construction demolition. Intricate patterns and textural contrasts are obtained by selecting each piece of lath based on its natural weathering. Gomes received her BA in Interior Design in 2011 and opened her studio in 2013.
